Future Planned Pairings
At Lincoln’s Prairie Shepherds, every pairing is planned years in advance to ensure the highest standards of structure, temperament, and genetic health. We believe in raising dogs slowly and intentionally, allowing each dog to fully mature before entering our program. This approach creates predictable, healthy, emotionally intelligent Toy and Small Mini Australian Shepherds that thrive in family, companion, and active homes.

2027 — Toy Australian Shepherds
Jaide × Ash
Expected Size: 10–13” tall, 11–16 lbs
Registration: ASDR
Colors Expected: Red merle, Red Tri, Black Tri
This pairing brings together two compact, expressive Toy Aussies with balanced structure, clean genetics, and soft, people‑oriented temperaments. Both parents will complete full panel genetic testing and PennHip evaluations before breeding. Puppies from this cross are expected to be confident, biddable, and beautifully marked.
2028 — Small Mini Australian Shepherds
Yogi × Blue Merle Female (Arriving 2026)
Expected Size: 14–16” tall, 15–25 lbs
Registration: ASDR
Colors Expected: Blue Merle, Black Tri, Cocoa Red Tri’s
We plan to add a blue merle female to our program in 2026. After she matures and completes all health testing, she will be paired with Yogi to produce small, athletic Minis with excellent pigment, strong copper, and the sweet, emotionally intelligent temperament Yogi is known for.
